Another piece of poetry
Mar. 8th, 2009 12:53 amI just want to share my daughter's today's present to me with all of you, beautiful ladies!
To mommy with love
Misty dawn, and the sun is a Firefly
Lost in the clouds.
Shadows playing, light dripping, with
the smell of smoke and the hum of bees.
Honeysuckle dripping dew, the rough craggs
of an ancient doorway, winding, unsafe
stairs, cracked paths, and a beggar.
Coldness and humidity, weeds that
cling to the clothes. Women laugh, an
egg lies bleeding on the ground, the
nestling's misshapen head still.
And now, a rainbow.
What could be more perfect?
