tamsyamToday marks 99 days left till US presidential election.
Just a couple of major events are left with Democratic (August, 25) and Republican (September,1) conventions on the way and with announcing the Veeps from both sides somewhere around that time. That's it! All the other shannannigans - just the usual political masturbation, because my firm and educated belief is everybody who is planning to vote at this point knows whom are they going to vote for. There is no swinging vote left regardless what poles say, - those are just people who are not comfortable with relieving there preferences, which as primaries showed, should be good news for McCain.
The daily tracking pole says for today: Obama - 49%, McCain - 41%, which means nothing, considering "Bradley affect," - the usual much lower real number of votes for African-American candidate than the pole numbers at the voting time, including exit poles.
So.. let's brace ourselves and hope for the best!
